Hole 2: Lochside

Extra bunkering in recent years has tightened the landing areas for both the drive and the second shot. Aim at the white house from the tee.

A good drive down wind sets you up for a shot at the green. Into the wind a sensible second shot to the right centre of the fairway leaves a short iron in.

This is a long green, and the guarding bunkers are placed 10 yards short of the putting surface, so avoid the tendency to underclub, particularly when the pin is near to the back.
